1. How long is a session?
Sessions last for an hour. Usually the first session is longer so we have time to meet and learn a little more about each other.
2. How much does a session cost?
A one hour session costs $60.00.
There is a sliding scale for people who are unable to afford this amount.
3. How do I know if I qualify for a sliding scale? A sliding scale is for people who are unable to afford 'extras' in their life; for example, vacations and eating out often! I ask people to look in their heart and see what they are able to contribute. No one will be turned away.
4. Do you accept insurance? How do I pay for a session?
I cannot accept insurance. Sessions can be paid for through my Venmo or Paypal account. I will send you the contact information when you have booked an appointment.
5. What happens during a session?
At the beginning of the session you may want to set an intention . An intention offers focus and may be something like, "I need more peace in my life. I want time to play, or, I need support." If you are unsure about an intention, one may unfold during the session.
With compassion and patience we are working with trauma that has been held in body memory, often, for a long time. Slowly and with feelings of safety, these sensations are met with kind attention. This allows the nervous system to gradually re-pattern itself, supporting the body in rediscovering it's natural state of health.
6. How many sessions are needed?
When there is a feeling of 'completion', the client may want to take a break before coming back at a later time. This may be after 3 or 6 sessions., a little more or less.
